Sometimes when you are trapped in your narrow world of problems and confusion, you scramble to hear your own messages that are trying to reach you. And you miss out on the communication that will point you in a new better direction.
Pay attention, maybe today, you will be given an opportunity to really listen to someone who needs to be heard. And the surprise is that you will hear a message, that is just right for you. Very often in the past and sometimes in the present- your behavior has screamed for the attention you seek from others. Perhaps, instead of trying to get attention, you ought to give it.
Wisdom of the ages dictates that in life there are no accidents. Those people close to you and those just passing through your life have reason to be there. Make others feel special and necessary.
The greatest gift we can give another is rapt attention to one another’s existence- Sue Atchley Ebaugh
