“A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it.” ~George Moore
In every language, in every season, in every book, and with every sage that has ever spoken, the message is always the same: You must meet the outer world with the inner world or it will destroy you. In other words, if you’re inner leadership does not meet your outer, frustration flows, confusion constructs and discord is designed.
Sometimes we think that by ignoring our inward leadership it will somehow protect us or save us, but the opposite is true. The truth is that when we agree to any demand, request or condition that is contrary to our hearts nature, the cost is high. The drain is deep.
The heart is very much like a balloon. Its lightness comes from staying full. Inner leadership is just like that balloon. By leading from within and allowing our hearts to guide us in our professional and personal life, it fills us with values, principles, beliefs and prevents us from being empty.
Most of our searching in life is looking for ways for fulfillment and to discover who we already are. Leading from within teaches us that stillness remembers, and hurry forgets. searching remembers and hardness forgets. And surrender remembers and fear forgets.
Let’s remember before we forget who we are.
No matter what path we choose to honor, there will always be conflict to negotiate. Our professional and our personal lives need us to show up and remember. Leading from within teaches you not to forget.
It is so difficult with all that is going on around us on a daily basis to forget who we are and what is important to us. But we can help each other remember. Leading from within remembers when we forget.

Such a pity the time zones really stretch me to be able to stay/wake up and join your Tuesday tweetchat. Remember, reconnect, they pretty much all go back to source and that is why I think your purpose resonates with me. Often I will catch myself looking outward and wondering aimlessly and it is amusing when I look at myself and how I remember rather than remain detached.
