One step at a time. That is all you can take. That is all you have to take.
You have created your vision and you have set goals of where you want to go. But sometimes progress is such a subtle process that you don’t know if it’s happening to you. Things may seem unchanged at the surface; you may become doubtful or frustrated by an apparent lack of movement.
Remember, you do not get there with a leap. Progress is a process of moving slowly and surely step by step. It does not happen in an instant; it does not announce itself with grand fanfare and excitement. Rather, each step you take towards your goal is like carefully setting brick upon brick, building slowly and steadily until one day you will step back and realize that the house was completed.
If you have been working steadily toward a goal but wish you could make the progress faster, think about how far you have already come and have confidence in the process. Even though it may not seem like it, you are always progressing. Have trust in the simple steps, trust that your process is leading you to your destination.
