We would like to slow down and become quieter but our restlessness will not allow it.
Our lives seem filled with movement and frantic activity without end, as if this were our sole route to happiness as human beings.
At the same time, we know we need harmony and peace and tranquility, order and meaning as we go through life.
When we find yourself too active, sometimes we feel we may be deceiving ourselves, by the sheer thought of taking a minute for ourselves, or having a calmer existence seems contrary to our way of being and so we resist it.
But claiming silence can reacquaint us with our wiser selves, which resides within us, drowning out the external noise.
The choice is ours. Choosing to live with our hearts in the minutes and hours of today is the finest gift of freedom that we can give ourselves.
Lead From Within: Honestly examine the advantage of living your life with a minute for yourself. Come to terms with your needs, desires and wants. Take a minute for you.

Absolutely. If we don’t give some daily time for that we end up working like robots.
Some times I do that and some ideas came in order to my head, just because I’ve spent some time in a safe place with my eyes closed. Then I use to write some draft text
This makes me remember about the left and right brain. I have no proof of that but maybe is the whole view of the right one that can be seen we shut the mouth of the left one 🙂
