Are You A Poet & Don’t Even Know It.

Are You A Poet & Don’t Even Know It.

A poem, said Robert Frost, “begins in delight and ends in wisdom.” So too with life.

Poetry is, after all, life transformed into verse- the surging, exhilarating, untamed current of human thought, feeling and experiencing. We do not have to be able to write poetry to understand it, for poetry is everywhere, within us and without.

Have you ever watched the lyrical movement of trees in the breeze, the rhythmic soaring of birds overhead, the measured emergence of stars as they become visible in the evening sky? Have you ever listened to your inner poetry- your thoughts, dreams, the song of your soul?

Allow your life to be filled with colors, textures, scents  that have meaning to you. Let your soul lead you through meadows and take you down deep into the valleys. There are many poems, waiting like the stars to come out and to illuminate your heaven.

As a poet you embody courage, you dare to give a voice to the yearning that too often lies buried in your heart. Unearth what you yearn for-  It is then, that your life can begin with delight and end in wisdom.

We are all poems in search of a voice.

Learners, Doers, Teachers.

Learners, Doers, Teachers.

Many of you have been taught to believe that wisdom comes only from years of experience and age and that teachers have something to profess and nothing to learn from their students.

However, when you begin to recognize that there is a student and teacher in each of us, our perspective changes. You start to understand that each of you has something to learn from the other, and that everyone is an equal teacher regardless of age or credentials.

“Learning is finding out what we already know. Doing is demonstrating that you know it. Teaching is reminding others that they know just as well as you. We  are all learners, doers, and teachers.” — Richard Bach

You may be asking yourself….

  • How do I make those passions a real force in my life?
  • How can I take control of my life?
  • How can I get from where I am to where I want to be?
  • What do I need to do to change my life?

Those can be challenging questions, but the answers here!

Mastermind Workshops. Amazing things happen when you create small collections of motivated people.  Lolly organizes and oversees mastermind workshops that allow for maximum interactivity, learning and sharing.  Lolly believes that looking at problems from multiple angles and enlisting the opinions of people from different backgrounds and disciplines can be utterly transformative and her mastermind workshops prove the point!

Coaching for Success. Lolly is an accomplished personal and professional coach.  She’s helped countless clients discover their passions, outline their purposes and proceed forward in a way that produces powerful results–professionally and personally.  She doesn’t just provide “how to” information, she helps lay the very foundation necessary to reach real success.

Coaching for Leading Within. You can’t hope to lead others if you aren’t leading your own life.  Lolly believes in leading from within–organizing your life around your personal passions and values and organically creating a positive and successful life experience on that basis.  She can help you or your organization’s leaders to unleash the fiery passions within them that produce real results.

Coaching for Passion. A life without passion isn’t worth living.  Passion is what puts smiles on are faces, convinces us to climb out of bed in the morning and motivates us to do great things.  Unfortunately, many of us find ourselves living in a way that’s divorced from what really matters to us. Lolly coaches others to discover what really “makes them tick” and to use that information to create a passion-driven life.

E-Coaching. Lolly recently introduced an innovative approach to personal coaching, designed as her way of “paying it forward”.  She wants to bring the value and power of personal coaching to those who may not be in a position to access it via traditional methods–or at traditional prices.  She’s making a difference and giving back with an affordable email-based coaching system that makes professional guidance and assistance something anyone can experience.

This blog post is dedicated to you: My friends on twitter. Who allow me to reflect, contemplate, and ponder out loud each and every day.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Many of you have not been mentioned in this blog – you know who you are and I am grateful and appreciative of ALL you.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What is PASSION?

Here are some answers:untitled-1WOW!!! Great, inspiring, brilliant thoughts. Thank you.

My mind still unsettled I continued to ponder to myself ………….

SO WHAT IS PASSION?

Passion ignites fire, zest, or fervor to your soul.

It is the force that relentlessly drives one forward against all odds and obstacles, enabling you to conquer your circumstances.

We all want to think our life has purpose. We all want to be passionate about what we are doing, and to feel we are making some valuable contribution.

Passion ignites a person to live a more full life.

The passionate have big dreams. Those with passion are focused on their goals, not themselves. They are wrapped up in their dreams, not their worries. They don’t have the time or inclination for self-pity. When things go wrong, they learn from their mistakes and quickly continue on their way.

Passion is magical.

A person with passion is expressive, intensely feels, fervently articulates, and adventurously journeys into the unknown to create his world.

Passion can bring the nonexistent into existence

Consider for a moment, what are the alternatives to a life of passion? Would you rather lead an empty life or one filled with passion and purpose? Whenever it is a matter of ability or passion, passion is always the victor in the battle for success.

Passion is a burning desire that creates commitment to a person, work, or life.

Can there be any greater gift than to give yourself and others the gift of a passionate life?

Step forward boldly.

Take a risk. Live a life with passion. Live the life of your dreams.

I dare you to Live a Life of Passion.

I Make Mistakes And I Am Proud Of It

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable,

but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.

George Bernard Shaw

Everyone makes mistakes. The bad news is that it will almost definitely happen to you.

Mistakes are often frowned upon. Perfection seems to be the main objective to most people in their work, relationship and life.

If you never make mistakes, then it is likely that you are not taking any risks in your life.

If fear is the underlying cause that keeps you stagnate from reaching your desired results in your life, I offer that you to have the courage to aim for success and not perfection.

Some think that success is absence of errors. Some think that if you are taking all the right steps and you are doing it correctly you will not fail.

Wrong!

Making mistakes is the key to making progress. Mistakes are not just golden opportunities for learning; they are, in an important sense, the only opportunity for learning something truly new.

A mistake is not about failure; it just means the action you have taken did not produce the results you hoped for and that is okay.

Each one of us makes mistakes from time to time. When you do, rather than beating yourself up over it, learn from it.

Ask yourself, what did I learn from this experience, and how will I act differently next time.

Mistakes give feedback on what needs to be fixed.

Living means choosing, and choosing means running the risk of making mistakes, and accepting the risk of being guilty of making mistakes.

You are going to make lots of mistakes in your life, and some of them, unless you truly do lead a charmed life, will really hurt–yourself and others.

Instead of turning away in denial when you make a mistake, you should become an expert of your own mistakes, turning them over in your mind as if they were works of art, which in a way they are.

You should seek out new opportunities and be willing to make mistakes, just so you can then recover from them.

I am a true believer of  learning from my mistakes.

I encourage harmless mistakes, and I accept mistakes in others.

As for me, I make mistakes and I am proud of it.
