I Dare You To Live A Life of Passion.
This blog post is dedicated to you: My friends on twitter. Who allow me to reflect, contemplate, and ponder out loud each and every day.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Many of you have not been mentioned in this blog – you know who you are and I am grateful and appreciative of ALL you.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What is PASSION?
Here are some answers:
WOW!!! Great, inspiring, brilliant thoughts. Thank you.
My mind still unsettled I continued to ponder to myself ………….
SO WHAT IS PASSION?
Passion ignites fire, zest, or fervor to your soul.
It is the force that relentlessly drives one forward against all odds and obstacles, enabling you to conquer your circumstances.
We all want to think our life has purpose. We all want to be passionate about what we are doing, and to feel we are making some valuable contribution.
Passion ignites a person to live a more full life.
The passionate have big dreams. Those with passion are focused on their goals, not themselves. They are wrapped up in their dreams, not their worries. They don’t have the time or inclination for self-pity. When things go wrong, they learn from their mistakes and quickly continue on their way.
Passion is magical.
A person with passion is expressive, intensely feels, fervently articulates, and adventurously journeys into the unknown to create his world.
Passion can bring the nonexistent into existence
Consider for a moment, what are the alternatives to a life of passion? Would you rather lead an empty life or one filled with passion and purpose? Whenever it is a matter of ability or passion, passion is always the victor in the battle for success.
Passion is a burning desire that creates commitment to a person, work, or life.
Can there be any greater gift than to give yourself and others the gift of a passionate life?
Step forward boldly.
Take a risk. Live a life with passion. Live the life of your dreams.
I dare you to Live a Life of Passion.
Are You Standing In Your Power?
Am I standing in my power?
Do I believe in myself?
Do I have a clear understanding of where I want to go?
Or am I just trying to please others?
If having others believe in us and in our dreams were requirements for success, most of us would never accomplish anything.
What does it mean to stand in our power? Does it mean to believe in ourselves? Should we quit worrying what other people think about us?
YES!
Standing in our power means to be bold and confident and to have courage to stand up for ourselves.
Standing in our power, we will find that we are vulnerable and that we have to take risks transcending our comfort zone.
Standing in our power means daring to endure public criticism.
Not all segments of our journey will be smooth, paved or easy. We might prefer the highway, but sometimes the path takes us off-road where it’s rough. And the journey can get rough for miles and miles and miles.
Get ready, for this is the ride of your life. Don’t pretend that the bumps and detours are not there. Accept that not all paths are paved and smooth. Ride the path with unshakable determination by living within the structure of your own personal integrity.
It does not mean the path will remain rough forever.
It doesn’t matter who we are – if we are rich, famous, talented, creative, educated.
At some point each of us will face the choice of claiming our power or giving it away to others.
Stop worrying about what other people think. Stop trying to please others.
Trust in your brilliance. Trust in your uniqueness. Trust in your humanity.
Really focus on what is right and wrong for YOU.
If you want to create the life of your dreams, you need a strong foundation.
Owning your power requires that you accept yourself as you are. It means accepting your weaknesses and your strengths, your brilliance and your flaws, no matter what anyone else may think about you.
When I am standing in MY own power I feel strong enough to be true to my own desires.
Seek Your Best
Search out your strength, even when you doubt that it is there.
Especially when you doubt it is there.
Your strength hides in time of weakness and needs your belief to show itself.
Follow what you believe is right.
You have no stronger guide than this belief. All other advice is approximate.
In time of need, your belief is your strength. What others believe does not make the long night any shorter.
Do not be disappointed by your shortcomings that you discover on your quest.
Your knowledge of your shortcomings is an important as knowing your strength.
When you know your weakness, you know what to look out for. You know how you will get in your own way.
Seek.
Do not just sit there waiting for the world to present opportunities to you. The world is ignorant and is destined to ignore you if you do not act.
Create opportunities by believing in your best. The caring you show in the pursuit of your best creates a caring world around you.
Give your best a place in your life. If there is no room for your best, create it. Your best expands and needs to breathe.
Feelings are the breath of the soul. Make room for them by being truthful, simple and loving.
Where will you find your best? Right in front of you, where it has always been.
What will your best say to you when you find it?
” I am good, No, I am great.”
You are your strength. You are not afraid to look within.
