Frustration
Frustration is wonderful (said with a grin) Frustration is not necessarily bad since it can be a useful indicator of the problems in a person’s life and, as a result, it can act as a motivator to change.
Life inevitably has its ups and downs — its moments of relaxation and times of tension. You need to learn to distinguish between what you hope will happen, what will probably happen, and what actually happened. You can let frustration sink down to the tombs of resentment and keep it in the dark recesses of our shadows, or you can use the energy to manage the frustration in order to allow you to remain happy and positive even in trying circumstances.
The definition of frustrate is to prevent from accomplishing a purpose or a fulfilling a true desire. At the first sign of frustration, ask yourself what you could do to use the raw energy in a creative way. There is always an answer. Sometimes we get frustrated because we are struggling to attain something we don’t really want, so we must identify what we truly want.

I Dare You To Live A Life of Passion.
This blog post is dedicated to you: My friends on twitter. Who allow me to reflect, contemplate, and ponder out loud each and every day.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Many of you have not been mentioned in this blog – you know who you are and I am grateful and appreciative of ALL you.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What is PASSION?
Here are some answers:
WOW!!! Great, inspiring, brilliant thoughts. Thank you.
My mind still unsettled I continued to ponder to myself ………….
SO WHAT IS PASSION?
Passion ignites fire, zest, or fervor to your soul.
It is the force that relentlessly drives one forward against all odds and obstacles, enabling you to conquer your circumstances.
We all want to think our life has purpose. We all want to be passionate about what we are doing, and to feel we are making some valuable contribution.
Passion ignites a person to live a more full life.
The passionate have big dreams. Those with passion are focused on their goals, not themselves. They are wrapped up in their dreams, not their worries. They don’t have the time or inclination for self-pity. When things go wrong, they learn from their mistakes and quickly continue on their way.
Passion is magical.
A person with passion is expressive, intensely feels, fervently articulates, and adventurously journeys into the unknown to create his world.
Passion can bring the nonexistent into existence
Consider for a moment, what are the alternatives to a life of passion? Would you rather lead an empty life or one filled with passion and purpose? Whenever it is a matter of ability or passion, passion is always the victor in the battle for success.
Passion is a burning desire that creates commitment to a person, work, or life.
Can there be any greater gift than to give yourself and others the gift of a passionate life?
Step forward boldly.
Take a risk. Live a life with passion. Live the life of your dreams.
I dare you to Live a Life of Passion.
Does Thinking Matter?
The human mind has an immense amount of power in our lives. What we give attention to and what we think about will affect our actions. The way we think affects our attitude. You can control your thoughts and because of that you can control your attitude.
If thinking shapes who you are, then it naturally follows that your potential is dictated by what you are thinking.
Does thinking matter? Yes.
But know that thinking alone won’t guarantee you success. You need to think about the right things, which I call good thinking.
What is good thinking?
It means something else to everyone and it consists of many things.
Good thinking has certain traits, it is about being reflective, sufficiently self critical, believing in value, revising goals when necessary, and being open to multiple possibles.
In As a Man Thinketh, Author James Allen explains, “Good thinking and actions can never produce bad results, bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.”
Bad thoughts or negative thinking like worrying can actually hinder the thinking process rather than improve it.
We all know life is complicated and our emotions and thoughts can get the best of us.
Albert Eisenstein observed, “The problems we face today cannot be solved on the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.”
Don’t fret.
The great news is that no matter how complicated life gets or how difficult a problem may seem, good thinking can make a difference – if you make it a consistent part of your life.
Every good thinking holds an opportunity for growth. Every good thought a new blossoming.
The more good thinking you engage in, the more good thoughts will come to you.
Are You Standing In Your Power?
Am I standing in my power?
Do I believe in myself?
Do I have a clear understanding of where I want to go?
Or am I just trying to please others?
If having others believe in us and in our dreams were requirements for success, most of us would never accomplish anything.
What does it mean to stand in our power? Does it mean to believe in ourselves? Should we quit worrying what other people think about us?
YES!
Standing in our power means to be bold and confident and to have courage to stand up for ourselves.
Standing in our power, we will find that we are vulnerable and that we have to take risks transcending our comfort zone.
Standing in our power means daring to endure public criticism.
Not all segments of our journey will be smooth, paved or easy. We might prefer the highway, but sometimes the path takes us off-road where it’s rough. And the journey can get rough for miles and miles and miles.
Get ready, for this is the ride of your life. Don’t pretend that the bumps and detours are not there. Accept that not all paths are paved and smooth. Ride the path with unshakable determination by living within the structure of your own personal integrity.
It does not mean the path will remain rough forever.
It doesn’t matter who we are – if we are rich, famous, talented, creative, educated.
At some point each of us will face the choice of claiming our power or giving it away to others.
Stop worrying about what other people think. Stop trying to please others.
Trust in your brilliance. Trust in your uniqueness. Trust in your humanity.
Really focus on what is right and wrong for YOU.
If you want to create the life of your dreams, you need a strong foundation.
Owning your power requires that you accept yourself as you are. It means accepting your weaknesses and your strengths, your brilliance and your flaws, no matter what anyone else may think about you.
When I am standing in MY own power I feel strong enough to be true to my own desires.
